L.A.-based songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, Billy Mohler originally auditioned for Zwan, but was not hired. After Zwan split and Jimmy started the Jimmy Chamberlin Complex, Mohler was the first person he called, and he ended up co-writing and co-producing much of the album, as well as providing vocals for Streetcrawler and Newerwaves. His godfather, Bill Medley of The Righteous Brothers, also appears on the album. One of Mohler's other bands, War Tapes, opened for the Pumpkins in 2007.
